Provider Alert! Revised EVV Policy Handbook Now Available

Attention: Financial Management Services Agencies (FMSA) and Consumer Directed Services (CDS) Employers
Effective Date: November 1, 2021
Providers should monitor the Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP) Provider Portal regularly for alerts and updates associated to the COVID-19 event. TCHP reserves the right to update and/or change this information without prior notice due to the evolving nature of the COVID-19 event.
Call to action: Revisions to the Electronic Visit Verification Policy Handbook published Nov. 1. The handbook includes EVV standards and policy requirements for:
- Program providers
- Financial Management Services Agencies
- Consumer Directed Services employers
- Payers such as HHSC and managed care organizations
How this impacts providers: The revised Policy Handbook replaces the individual policy files that were on the HHSC EVV webpage.
