Provider Alert! EVV Policy Handbook Revisions

Attention: STAR Kids Providers/Consumer Directed Services employers, and FMSA Providers
Effective date: June 1, 2022
Providers should monitor the Texas Children’s Health Plan (TCHP) Provider Portal regularly for alerts and updates associated with the COVID-19 event. TCHP reserves the right to update and/or change this information without prior notice due to the evolving nature of the COVID-19 event.
Call to action: TCHP would like to inform providers of upcoming revisions to the Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Policy Handbook that will publish and be effective on June 1, 2022. The handbook includes EVV standards and policy requirements for:
- Program providers
- Financial Management Services Agencies (FMSAs)
- Consumer Directed Services (CDS) employers
- Payers such as HHSC and MCOs
How this impacts providers: The revisions include defining schedules and adding descriptions, clarifications along with new sections. For more details, visit the EVV Policy Handbook Revision Log – June 2022.
