Call to action: In recognition of Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) Awareness Month for the month of June, Texas Children’s Health plan (TCHP) would like to inform you of resources and continuing education events hosted by the Health and Human Services Commission.

How this impacts providers: Interested providers should participate in the NAS education events occurring this month to increase their awareness and learn about resources available to this patient population.

Next steps for providers: Providers should register at  https://wp.uthscsa.edu/nas-symposium/view-speakers-2021/ for each presentation they wish to attend separately. Receive free Continuing Medical Education (CME) /CE (Ethics); there is no registration fee.
