HEDIS Toolkit Offers Benefits to Providers

Members are cared for as HEDIS measures are met

Texas Children’s Health Plan developed a HEDIS Toolkit that contains helpful information regarding the measure requirements, standards and codes to use that are acceptable for HEDIS reporting. The new toolkit can be accessed here.

This toolkit will serve as a reference form that can be used to code the type of appointments made and ensure that all of the HEDIS standards are met.  This will help providers maintain high quality care and meet Healthcare Effectiveness and Data Information Set (HEDIS) measures.

As of July 1, 2020 there has been a change to the National Committee on Quality Assurance (NCQA) HEDIS Technical Specifications. You can see a detailed breakdown of the revised measures here.

The following sections will be released as part of the toolkit:

As a reminder, Texas Children’s Health Plan also rewards providers for quality care to  members. For a copy of our provider incentive program brochure or for any questions about the HEDIS Toolkit please contact your assigned provider relations liaison or email Provider Network Management at providerrelations@texaschildrens.org
